10 Most Dangerous Foods!

When thinking about the foods that are good and bad for you, it can sometimes be a no brainer. Obviously eating a bell pepper is better for you than eating french fries, but there are some foods that can cause health problems that might not be so obvious.

Certain foods, when eaten too frequently, can pose a very real health risk over time. This past year, the National Institutes of Health even linked long-term pesticide exposure to diabetes. To avoid these health risks, Sprig.com came up with a list of ten foods to beware, both for your health and for the health of the environment.

Take a look and see how you can avoid these foods.

No Vet Tax in CA

Hi all,

As you  probably noticed by now I am quite the animal lover. And one thing I really feel strongly about is that people should treat their pets like family, offering them all the love and care they deserve.

If you live in California you should be aware that there is a proposal for a 9% tax on vetinary care. I believe this is really reprehensible at a time when so much is being done to heighten awareness regarding caring for animals.  Veterinarians, whose training and licensing is as rigorous as that of MDs will now have their care taxed as though they were dispensing canned goods.  And the cost of surgeries, neutering, etc. is high enough, so additional 9% could really discourage many from giving their pet care. So if you agree, please call the governors's office and make it known that balancing the budget at the expense of our pets' health is not acceptable!! People are having a hard enough time feeding their animals during our current financial climate.

This only takes 5 seconds - you can punch the numbers one after the other.  Say NO to taxes on our vet services!

(916) 445-2841: then, 1 - 5 - 1 - 2 (See below)

It only takes about 20 seconds because it's all automated.
Call  1-916-445-2841.
