Gorgously Green?

What is the least earth-friendly method of disposing of fruit & veggie food scraps?

What is the most eco-friendly method of transport?

What is the most energy efficient way to heat the water for a cup of tea?

Think you know? These are questions from the Gorgeously Green Quiz. Gorgeously Green by Sophie Uliano is the green girl's bible . I use it as a textbook for my Spa and Wellness class at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Usually, reading for school is torturous, but not with this book! The book has some great ways to start being more eco friendly, but if you are already a green goddess, there are some great new green tips too! There are lots of great green products and recipes, and even a yoga section! It's a must read for any eco-warrior! Click here for the to take the Gorgeously Green Quiz! Get the answers to the questions above and many more! There are definitely some surprises, take it and see how green you are!

The Story of Stuff

Have you ever wondered what kind of an impact all of our stuff makes? I didn't, but when I was shown this video at school, I started to think about my things and the world around me. Annie Leonard takes you on a journey through the underside of our production and consumption patterns in this eye-opening 20 minute video. The Story of Stuff shows the connection between a number of environmental and social issues, and helps show you how to create a more sustainable world.

Take a look and leave your thoughts about this truly eye opening video.

And its free to download and use! So, whether you're concerned about the environment or just too lazy to change the cartridge, this might just be the font for you. Sure beats Comic Sans!
